It's a funny book that deserves serious attention. Galeener-Moore's first book, Collecting Dead Relatives (Genealogical Pub., 1987), was by no means a complete telling of how an otherwise normal person becomes a genealogist. This book continues with adventures in digging up dead relatives in graveyards (figuratively speaking, of course), discerning causes of death, and trying to identify the unidentifiable in crumbling old photos. It also is a how-to book, as in how to become a published author. Since there's a wealth of valuable information to be found amid the laughs, public libraries--and librarians, public or not--should have this book on hand.-- Carol Spielman Lezak, General Learning Corp., Northbrook, Ill.
